The Gibson ES-335 is a guitar that I love for years. But its weight and size make it slightly uncomfortable. I made the Tesla in a smaller, more comfortable size while keeping the look and spirit of the ES-335. The body is 14 inches wide ( about 13 for the Les Paul and 16 for the ES-335 ). This, combined with an aluminium bridge / tailpiece turn it into a lightweight and lively guitar. The precise and warm sounding Benedetti pickups, along with a 6 way switch ( 3 humbucker positions and 3 split positions ) give it lots of versatility.
